The SHARPAL 191H Pocket Kitchen Chef Knife & Scissors Sharpener is a multi-function suction cup sharpener that features tungsten carbide blades for quick edge setting and ceramic blades for fine honing. Designed with a specially crafted tungsten carbide blade, it can quickly and easily sharpen scissors. The high-quality rubber base provides a powerful suction, allowing for safe one-handed use.

The sharpener's three-slot multifunction design caters to various sharpening needs. The No. 1 V-Notch slot with coarse carbide quickly sharpens and repairs dull or damaged knife blades, while the No. 2 V-Notch slot with fine ceramic finely hones, polishes, and removes burrs for an already sharp knife. The serrated knife can only be sharpened in the ceramic slot.

The SHARPAL 191H can sharpen a wide range of knives, including household/kitchen straight-edge knives (chef, paring, peeling, utility, slicing, Santoku), outdoor/sporting straight-edge knives (pocket, hunting, fillet, tactical, fixed-blade), and serrated knives (steak, bread). It can also sharpen scissors, but not sewing scissors.

Using the sharpener is straightforward. Press the black switch on the back to firmly attach the suction cup to the table, and then simply insert the blade fully and vertically into the appropriate sharpening slot at a 90-degree angle. Gently pull the knife blade from heel to tip in the direction of the indicator arrows, repeating the process until the blade is sharp.

For scissors, place the sharpener near the edge of the table, press the switch, and make sure the beveled side of the blade is fully leaned against the carbide blade. Draw the scissors from hinge to tip in the direction of the indicator arrows, sharpening only the side of each blade that has a bevel.
